Its been a while since I last wrote. I participated in the Port Republic Tri, and had a great time. Many friends and customers from the shop also participated making it more enjoyable. There were perfect conditions with weather allowing for just a great day to be had for all.

We have been doing the shop rides on Tuesday evenings. Meeting up at 6:30pm and leaving 7pm sharp. Make sure you come out if you are training or need a group to ride with.

Last night we rode out of the shop about 23 miles and then I went on a run with my girlfriend for about 3.5 miles. I noticed how good I felt despite the extreme heat conditions. I have been drinking Alo Water for the past week and I feel this might have something to do with my energy levels. Check it out when you have a second.

Tomorrow going on a ride with some guys from the shop down by the shore. Call or e-mail if you have any interest.

Talk soon

As for training I have been riding 2-3 times per week occasionally running and totally lacking on the swim due to the shop and website being very busy. There are few individuals that have been looking to help out with the shop. With the proper training they should be able to run things here at the shop and enable me to get the proper training in for the half ironman I intend on doing in August.

Be sure to write in with any questions you might have for your training. Stay COOL! Keep Riding

Looking to get in the water/pool tomorrow morning. The weather has been beautiful so there is really no excuse other than the shop being very busy. Thank you all for the support. If you are around the south jersey area be sure to check in with our location on Tuesday night rides. If you are training yourself, let us know of your progress in the forum page of the site. Also keep your eye out for video clip tips! Today I am looking to get a lift in the studio if anyone wants to join me.

Going to build it back up and get out on a ride this weekend. The weather is supposed to be rainy tomorrow but then sunny on Sunday! I plan on riding 20-25 miles if anyone has any interest!

The weather is starting to get nice in South Jersey. We had some rain yesterday but the clouds have subsided and the sun is out. This past weekend I did a triathlon in South Beach Florida. It did not turn out as I planned. I focused my training on the swimming and did minimal riding and running. I also did something that I never did before and I drank 3 three bottles of coconut water before the race. TIP: This is a RE-HYDRATION beverage, not a HYDRATION beverage! Needless to say I was very sick during the run. I will list all the times of my past performances in another blog. The swim turned out average and I was not too upset with my performance of 35min. The bike was even respectable at a hour ten min. averaging 21.1 mph since it was the first time on the bike, whoops! We had a bad winter and my training was limited, no excuses. The bright side is I have been blessed with a next and pushed to succeed by the past.

Now I am pushing my training to actually start training and getting focused on "the Goal" Today's run felt good and I increase my sprints on the soccer field down the street to 5 and still finished my run within 20 min. I need to get a lift in and keep my legs strong. Hopefully my bicycle gets (being shipped back from FL) back into town today and I can get out on a bicycle ride this weekend.

Email me if you have would like to train! I am currently training a few people that never felt they would ever even do a triathlon but I have pushed them to surprise themselves.

Our website has been through a lot in the past 4 years but now we have BLOGS and Forums for you to read and put in your input. My name is Pasquale Bocchicchio. I am 30 years old and I have owned this company for 6 years as of 2011. I come from a wrestling background and my passion has been bicycles since I was little kid. I never experienced racing growing up but riding my BMX bike in the woods with friends to stay out of trouble was an everyday event. I feel I was peaking in my wrestling career just before I stopped the sport and went to college. While in college I had the opportunity to study in Australia for my junior year. While down under I picked up surfing and found another love. The ability to be in the water while surfing is a true experience. My bicycle riding was to and from the beach mostly down there but it allowed me to appreciate the bicycle as means of transportation.

After working in the corporate world for a few years and saving enough money, I purchased the bicycle shop FREERIDE. I still road my BMX bicycle but that scene was changing. The kids were really pushing the limits and putting in serious time to get to the next level. I started riding DH to capture that rush but with the new business time was limited and being in a south jersey area, conditions for DH are a few hours away. So I started riding road bikes to stay in shape and be able to ride a bicycle for a release. It was in 2009 I did my first triathlon. That was it TRIATHLONs are where I fell in sync.

It is in the 3 sports of the triathlon I am able to push my body to the limits. Now I want to train for an iron man. It would be a great accomplishment to qualify for the "THE BIG EVENT" if you are not sure what I am talking about check out KONA Ironman in a search, WOW, what an amazing event and in such a beautiful place.

My BLOG is going to be about events I partake in and training that I go through. If you have any questions send me an email or if you want to share something be sure to check out the FORUMS link on our site.
